About Us
My name is Jared Knapp (aka JK) which means that this is simply my design factory. US male born in 1974.
On one hand, this is my team portfolio: I help small, medium and big companies to achieve their commercial goals by designing; on the other hand, I help newbie designers and illustrators to start in this difficult world from my links.
My Design Team Career
From a Bachelor in Math to make a living as freelance designer and illustrator, I couldn’t tell you how or when it all started, it just happened by chance… in this timeline I share my path.
Childhood 1987 - 2005
• I was born in 23rd May of 1987.
• I’m 4, I love drawing and everybody tell me I do it pretty well.
• I'm 5, I got my first winning painting contest.
• I’m 15 and I express myself with drawings.
• I’m 18… I keep on drawing I’m very perfectionist and improve fast
2009: First freelance career
• I’m 22 and this is the first time I'm tired working with company and looking for some freelance job.
• I found design contest international info.
• I start join in web design contest and I won $633 from my submission in 2010.
• This is continously until 2014.
College 2005 - 2009
• I’m in College studying Math. I get good marks even though I’m not a good student.
• I also working at Mama&Leon Boutique, and big surfing company such as: Volcom Stone, Hurricane Australia, West Suite, etc.
2014: Working Remotely
• I'm 27 and start working remotely by chance with some UK companies.
• In 2018 - 2019 I jump in Cryptocurrency company also jump in to their investment that make my financial goes down and minus.
• Leave anything and going back to design world.
• Meet with old friend by chance and start working together to help each other for our future.

While I’m not a programmer I have more than 10 years of experience using WordPress, the most widely used CMS for small to middle sized websites. I can create nice corporate websites optimized for a good performance.
Jared's Designs is a pioneer in the creation of corporate mascot designs, a niche that I eventually created +10 years ago. Over the years I learnt to find the right balance between usability and aesthetics.
I transitioned from high end illustrative logos fully detailed to a more versatile and simpler approach. This way I can offer high graphic impact logo designs but also vector versions for easy printing on different layouts and mediums.
UI/UX
GRAPHIC DESIGN
ILLUSTRATION
Because intuitive and clean interfaces can also be nice, I have more than 5 years of experience working in UX/UI projects for Apps. With a focus in gamification.
A good logo can be screwed by a bad designer, I can offer a wide range of graphic design services for the web or print. Banners, business cards, tshirts…
With more than 12 years of experience in illustration services, I can conceptualize an idea from its inception and convert it into a visually stunning work no matter if you use it on games or as corporate collaterals.
- HOW MANY REVISIONS DO YOU OFFER IN YOUR LOGO DESIGN PROCESS?
I offer a premium custom logo design service and I guarantee full satisfaction.
Revisions will be the necessary in order to achieve the objective set.
My design process is sequential, we’ll do the work in stages - briefing,
conceptualization, sketch and final design - and we’ll make all the revisions you need (within reason), but when one stage is approved, we can’t turn back again.
If this happens I may charge a fee.
- WILL YOU REFUND MY MONEY IF I DON’T LIKE YOUR DESIGN SERVICES?
If I can’t deliver perfection, I will charge just for the work you approved, so until you approve the preliminary sketch, you are free to ask for a full refund.
- WHO OWNS THE COPYRIGHT OF MY DESIGN?
Copyright of the brand identity is yours upon receipt of final payment.
Anything I create that is not used in your final design belongs to Jared's Designs, for example, unapproved versions of your final design. Since I offer unlimited revisions (within reason) I try to avoid clients who request extra concepts that will be used for other projects.
- CAN YOU KEEP MY DESIGN PROJECT CONFIDENTIAL?
My portfolio is my only marketing tool, so otherwise stated, I keep the right to display the outcome of any design order in the Jared's Designs portfolio, blog or social profiles in order to promote my work.
If you need a Non-Disclosure Agreement signed by me, please let me know upfront as this certainly will increase the price of the service.
- CAN I MAKE MODIFICATION TO MY DESIGN?
Art is very personal and requires expert skills, it’s also about style, if you make changes it could lose all consistency.
If after your project is finished you want make any change I suggest you contact me to discuss your new needs, I will do everything on my hand to achieve your new goals at the minimum cost.
- WHICH PAYMENT METHOD CAN I USE TO ORDER MY COMPANY LOGO DESIGN / OTHER DESIGN?
The most common and quick payment is PayPal, Cryptocurrency, altough I also accept bank transfer or any other secure payment method like TransferWise.
